Results of the EANS Board members elections 2024

Dear EANS-member

The EANS Board members election in 2024 procedure is finished.

Full Members were given the opportunity to send in their application for nominations for EANS Board members. This year there was a call for two vacant EANS Board members positions. 

Three applications were received and EANS full-members casted their votes. Each voting member could nominate two candidates.

The final results of the voting members (n=51) were as follows: 

-          Gary Mitchell:                                  37 votes

-          Janneke de Man-Van Ginkel:         33 votes

-          Roberta Sammut:                            31 votes

Each voting member could nominate 2 candidates (102 votes in total). However, one member only casted one vote (101 votes).

Our warm congratulations to Gary Mitchell and Janneke de Man-Van Ginkel  as new EANS Board members.

EANS best poster award 2024

Dear members of EANSIn the tradition of the EANS Summer School and Summer Conference, one of our students is awarded for the best research poster. This year, Lisa Geyskens (KU Leuven, Belgium) wins the best poster award. She was chosen by the EANS members during the conference. Congratulations Lisa!

The EANS Best Paper Award 2024 procedure has been finalized, and Julian Hirt was confirmed as the award winner at the EANS Board meeting (November 12th, 2024).As usually, the Award winnar will have a short presentation at the upcoming Winter Summit held online.Sincere congratulations, Julian!
