Announcement: EANS Publishes 2025 Environmental Sustainability Survey Report

The European Academy of Nursing Science (EANS) is pleased to announce the publication of the Final Report of the 2025 Environmental Sustainability Survey. Conducted during the EANS Summer School in Mataró, Spain, the survey gathered insights from over 100 participants on their awareness, attitudes, and behaviours related to environmental sustainability.

Findings show strong concern about the climate crisis among participants but highlight an “intention–action gap,” particularly in sustainable travel choices. The report offers clear recommendations for future EANS events, including selecting more central European locations, supporting ground-based travel, and reducing single-use plastics.
